Biopharmaceutical Sanitary Pressure Gauges and Transmitters

  • MPP Modular Pressure Transmitter: The model MPP modular sanitary pressure transmitter has been specifically designed for placement in sanitary process applications in the Life Sciences industry where accurate and repeatable pressure measurements in difficult (vibration, wide temperature swings, humidity) environments are required. A sanitary diaphragm on the process boundary acts on an FDA and USP approved actuating fluid transferring pressure to an internally sealed piezo resistive transducer. The transducer’s millivolt output is then converted an analog 4-20 mA DC-signal that is proportional to the pressure exerted on the diaphragm. The resulting signal may be interfaced with Anderson-Negele Digital Indicators, PLC or other customer supplied instrumentation. The MPP is sealed from environmental conditions via fully potted electronics, patented double o-ring sealed enclosure and all welded construction. Modular construction allows a high degree of field customization with the benefit of individual component replacement. All product contact surfaces are constructed of 316L stainless steel, (available Hastelloy) and electropolished with a surface finish not exceeding 8 micro inch Ra. Non-product contact surfaces are constructed of both 316L and 304.
  • EM-Series Sanitary Pressure Gauge: The Improved version of the Anderson EB series 90mm sanitary gauge incorporating a more compact profile, and the industry's only externally adjustable standard span and offset. The EM Series sanitary gauge is designed specifically for SIP and autoclave applications. It has the lowest/most narrow profile of any sanitary gauge.
  • EK Series Mini Sanitary Pressure Gauge: This sanitary pressure gauge meets both criteria with its low profile 2.5” (63mm) case and standard 3/4” Tri-Clamp fitting. The gauge is designed for use at process temperatures up to 140°C(284°F) and to withstand repeated inline sterilization at up to 149°C(300°F). The back access re-zero adjustment is a standard feature on all models. When ordered with the Anderson CPM fitting, the gauge is autoclaveable at 149°C(300°F) for one hour.
  • EP Series Digital Pressure Gauge and Switch: This gauge provides a battery-powered, local display of pressure that is 6 times more accurate than its mechanical counter-part, with 3 times the over-range capacity and 5 to 10 times the resolution! The EPS version provides all this, PLUS 2 fully adjustable switches with low-voltage relay outputs for simple control and/or alarming.
  • IPS200 Analog Pressure Switch: This is a gauge with two switches, offering users adjustable high and low setpoints and provides a separate solid state, ground closure switch for each.
  • CPM - Clean Process Measurement Fittings: Sanitary pressure gauges and transmitters that can be installed on lines as small as ½ inch without the need for adapters or reducers, without creating pockets or dead legs, and without sacrificing performance.
  • SV Pressure Transmitter: The Anderson RSV Pharmaceutical Series Sanitary Pressure Transmitter offers not only a new low profile design, but may be ordered with built-in LCD indication. It is designed and manufactured to withstand the harsh process and sterilization conditions encountered in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Its one-piece stainless steel package design incorporates a transducer and electronic circuitry to convert pressure and/or vacuum to a proportional 4-20 ma signal.
  • HA “Mini” Sanitary PressureTransmitter: Specifically designed for critical measurements in fractional size lines, The HA mini sanitary transmitter and is available with an autoclaveable option. The product can be ordered with 3/4”, 1”or 1-1/2” Tri-Clamp® connections as well as our CPM fitting. This eliminates the need for reducers or adapters, thus reducing hold-up volumes in small lines.
  • HA Autoclaveable Sanitary Pressure Transmitter: The HA sanitary pressure transmitter improves upon the solid performance of the standard HA by allowing the device to be autoclaved in place. Improve enclosure integrity and tighter accuracy and stability will make this the transmitter of choice in both autoclave and critical applications.
  • TP - Series “Smart” Pressure Transmitter: The Anderson-Negele “TP” series pressure transmitter is a microprocessor-based sensor specifically designed for sanitary fluid process applications in the Life Sciences industry. This product provides an extremely high level of performance combined with the flexibility of digital communication via the “HART” protocol. The “TP” series can be specified in several configurations including high temperature models that are available in direct or remote mount variations. The high temperature direct mount is also recommended for applications where a horizontal orientation is re-quired for display viewing, such as tank tops and overhead lines. All models comply with UL, “intrinsically safe” requirements for Class 1, Div. 1, Groups A-D. The units may be ordered with any of our wide variety of sanitary process fittings.

  • EL Series Pressure Gauge: The EL Series 90mm pressure gauge is designed to be the toughest, most reliable gauge for any sanitary application up to 1000 psig. The EL also has the lowest, narrowest profile in the industry without any sacrifice in readability or performance.
  • EN Series Digital Pressure Gauge and Switch: This gauge provides a battery-powered, local display of pressure that is 6 times more accurate than its mechanical counter-part, with 3 times the over-range capacity and 5 to 10 times the resolution of traditional mechanical pressure indicators! The switch version provides all this, PLUS 2 fully adjustable switches with low-voltage relay outputs for simple control and/or alarming.
  • IPS 100 Indicating Pressure Switch: The Anderson 90mm IPS100 - Indicating Pressure Switch is a gauge with two switches. This gauge offers user adjustable high and low setpoints and provides a separate solid state, ground closure switch for each. The solid state circuit requires an external 12-24 VDC supply, and each switch is capable of handling 1 amp maximum at 24 VDC.
