Bio-Simplex™ sterile bottle assembly systems are available in a range of commonly used sizes (from 60-mL to 2-liter). Each system includes a PETG bottle (the 2-liter bottle is polycarbonate) and a 2-port EZ Top® Closure Assembly consisting of a 0.2 µM vent filter, an 18-inch length of tubing with a plug end, a notched dip tube that extends to the bottom of the bottle, and a polyethylene cap (the 2-liter cap is polypropylene). The EZ Top® assembly is made from C-Flex® pharmaceutical grade thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) resin. Bio-Simplex™ carboy closure systems feature an EZ Top® Closure Assembly and are engineered to ensure an unobstructed fluid path, extremely low levels of extractables, and a secure elastomeric seal against plastic, glass and metal surfaces. These assemblies are made from C-Flex® pharmaceutical grade thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) resin and consist of tubing with standard plug end fittings, a Bio-Simplex™ FlexJoint™, a 0.2 µM vent filter (for sterile gas exchange) and a cap. You can order just the Closure Assembly (to fit existing carboys) or a complete system consisting of a closure assembly and a standard LDPE carboy.

Economically designed for the single-use market, Bio-Simplex™ sampling manifold systems are available in four-, six-, eight- and ten-bottle configurations, with a 500-mL purge bottle at the end of the manifold. Each individual 60-mL sampling bottle is connected to the manifold with 10 inches of tubing and a Pure-Fit® TC clamp, and features an EZ Top® container closure, a 0.2 µM vent filter (for sterile gas exchange), and a polyethylene cap.

Bio-Simplex spinner flask accessories enable end users to maximize their investment in laboratory glassware while still enjoying the time and cost benefits of single-use technology. The molded one-piece construction of these filling assemblies creates a seamless fluid path that eliminates contamination as well as product loss due to loose connections. The assembly consists of an EZ Top® stopper and tubing, made from animal derived component free (ADCF) C-Flex pharmaceutical grade thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) resin; a Bio-Simplex FlexJoint™, which accommodates angle deviation in hand-blown spinner flasks and eliminates tube kinking and shape loss after autoclaving; and a polypropylene cap.

The entire spinner flask system is engineered to ensure an unobstructed fluid path, extremely low levels of extractables, and a secure elastomeric seal against glass, plastic and metal surfaces. Customer-generated designs, sizes, packaging and other options — such as connectors, heat-sealed ends or alternate flask materials — are available on request.
